These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Arcainer ("the Service"), operated by Arcainer ("we", "our", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Arcainer is a cloud-based platform for trading card game (TCG) stores to manage card inventory, pricing, quotes, buylists, barcode labels, and sales tracking. The Service includes integration with Shopify for product listing synchronization and point-of-sale order processing, an AI-powered card scanner for identification, and real-time market pricing.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement to use Arcainer. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements. The Service is intended for business use by TCG retailers.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Store owners are responsible for the actions of any staff members they invite to their store. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

You retain ownership of all data you enter into Arcainer, including inventory records, purchase history, sales data, quotes, and store settings. We do not claim ownership of your data. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, display, and transmit your data solely to provide and improve the Service.
Card prices displayed in Arcainer are sourced from third-party APIs and our proprietary TCGQA pricing engine. These represent market estimates at the time of lookup. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any pricing data. Prices are cached and may not reflect real-time market changes. You are solely responsible for verifying prices before making purchasing or selling decisions.
The Arcainer VP card scanner uses artificial intelligence to identify trading cards from images. While we strive for accuracy, the scanner may misidentify cards, especially with poor lighting, damaged cards, or obscure printings. You are responsible for verifying the scanner's identification before logging purchases or sales. We are not liable for losses resulting from scanner misidentification.

You are responsible for ensuring your Shopify account is in good standing and that your use of Arcainer complies with Shopify's Terms of Service. Arcainer is not responsible for any issues arising from Shopify platform changes, outages, or policy updates.
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control, including third-party service outages (Firebase, Shopify, pricing APIs). We are not liable for any losses resulting from service downtime.
Arcainer may offer free and paid subscription tiers. Pricing, features, and billing terms will be disclosed before you commit to any paid plan. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days notice to active subscribers. Free tier features may change at any time.
Arcainer is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or inaccurate pricing data. Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the total fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify and hold Arcainer harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
You may close your account at any time from the Settings page or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use poses a risk to the Service or other users. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days to allow for export, after which it will be permanently deleted unless otherwise required by law.
The Arcainer name, logo, and all related branding are our intellectual property. Card names, images, and game content belong to their respective publishers and rights holders. You may not use our branding without written permission.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you must stop using the Service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Georgia.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Arcainer regarding the Service.
